If your application meets formal requirements, you can submit a request to suspend the proceedings. Suspension is issued in the form of an administrative provision, which is subject to an appeal. Depending on your place of residence, your application will be processed by the Voivode(Governor) of the respective province (voivodeship). The same principle applies to most institutions you will need to contact. If your employer submits an application for a work permit, the decision will be issued by the Voivode of the province where your employer’s company is based. If you are applying for an intra-corporate transfer, the application will be processed by the Voivode of the province where the host entity in Poland is located.
