Fundusz Azylu, Migracji i Integracji (w skrócie FAMI) to mechanizm finansowy zastępujący Europejski Fundusz na rzecz Uchodźców, Europejski Fundusz na rzecz Integracji Obywateli Państw Trzecich oraz Europejski Fundusz Powrotów Imigrantów, funkcjonujące w ramach Programu ogólnego SOLID „Solidarność i zarządzanie przepływami migracyjnymi”.

This is required when applying for the EU long-term resident permit. You meet this requirement if you hold:
• a state certificate of proficiency in the Polish language at a level of at least B1. This certificate is issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language. More information can be found at certyfikatpolski.pl;
• a language certificate issued by one of the following institutions:
a) European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages (ECL),

A notary public is a legal professional appointed by the Minister of Justice, authorized to prepare notarial deeds and perform other notarial acts, such as certifying the authenticity of signatures or confirming that a copy of a document is consistent with the original. Pursuant to the law, documents prepared by a notary carry the status of official documents.
If the proceedings were suspended at your request, you may submit a request to reopen them at any time. No special justification is required. It is enough to state that the suspended proceedings may now continue. If there are any changes to your address, please notify us. You have 3 years to submit a request for reopening the proceedings, counted from the date of the suspension of proceedings. After that time, it shall be assumed that you withdraw your application, and the proceedings will be closed.

Depending on your place of residence, your application will be processed by the Voivode(Governor) of the respective province (voivodeship). The same principle applies to most institutions you will need to contact. If your employer submits an application for a work permit, the decision will be issued by the Voivode of the province where your employer’s company is based. If you are applying for an intra-corporate transfer, the application will be processed by the Voivode of the province where the host entity in Poland is located.

A valid template can be found on our website describing the procedure. Submitting an unsigned or incomplete form or not using a valid official template is considered a formal deficiency.
These refer to documents without which we cannot initiate proceedings, i.e., we cannot consider your application — for example, a completed and signed application form, photographs, the original passport presented for inspection, etc. You must provide these documents in order to receive a stamp on your passport. The formal assessment of the application is the initial stage of the entire procedure, during which we review the documents you have submitted.
