A photocopy of a valid travel document (the original for inspection), in a particularly justified case, when you do not have any valid travel document and you are not able to obtain one, you may present another document confirming your identity.

Documents required to be granted the permit:
• an agreement on the admission of a scientist for the purpose of conducting scientific research or development projects concluded with a scientific unit based in Poland,
• a written statement from the scientific unit in which it undertakes to bear the costs related to the issuance and enforcement of a decision obliging the foreigner to return,
• a document confirming health insurance,
• a document confirming sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay in Poland and return travel to the country of origin for the period of conducting scientific research or a development project, after deducting housing costs,
• a statement regarding housing costs.
