Interrupted stay

Periods of time when you stayed outside the territory of Poland. The length of these periods is important if you intend to apply for a long-term EU resident permit or permanent residence based on marriage.
Your residence is considered interrupted if you leave Poland for more than 6 months at a time or if the total duration of your stays outside Poland exceeds 10 months, unless the departure was due to professional duties or work for an employer based in Poland as well as an exceptional personal situation requiring presence abroad, participation in an internship, or attending courses as part of a study program at a Polish university.
