If you are residing in Poland on your own, the minimum required amount is PLN 1010 net per month. If you are residing in Poland in a shared household with your family members who are dependent on you, you are obliged to have financial means in the amount of at least PLN 823 net per month for yourself and each family member separately.

Proceedings regarding the legalization of stay are, as a rule, initiated on the day you submit your application for a residence permit in Poland. If your application does not contain any formal deficiencies, or if such deficiencies are supplemented by you, you will receive information about the initiation of the proceedings and the estimated date for the examination of your case.
In other words, a refusal to consider your application. It is a decision that concludes the case without proceeding and may be issued in cases specified by law, e.g. when you are not entitled to submit an application. Refusal to initiate proceedings is issued in the form of a provision against which you may lodge an appeal. The justification provided in the provision shall explain why your application will not be considered.

An agreement under which a foreigner undertakes an internship must be concluded in writing with the internship organizer and should specify:
a) a description of the internship program, including information about its educational objective or educational components, theoretical and practical training, the position at which the internship will take place, the language in which the internship will be conducted, the language proficiency level required to complete the internship, the scope and type of tasks performed, as well as the knowledge, practical skills, and professional experience to be acquired;
b) the duration of the internship;
c) the conditions of conducting and supervising the internship, including the place where the internship will take place and the information about the internship supervisor;
d) the internship hours,
e) the rights and obligations of the parties concerning:
• covering the costs of the internship
• required medical examinations
• accident insurance,
• days off,
• terms of termination of the agreement;
f) the method of confirming the acquired knowledge, practical skills, and professional experience.
Periods of time when you stayed outside the territory of Poland. The length of these periods is important if you intend to apply for a long-term EU resident permit or permanent residence based on marriage.
Your residence is considered interrupted if you leave Poland for more than 6 months at a time or if the total duration of your stays outside Poland exceeds 10 months, unless the departure was due to professional duties or work for an employer based in Poland as well as an exceptional personal situation requiring presence abroad, participation in an internship, or attending courses as part of a study program at a Polish university.
The aim of the interview is to clarify the facts of relevance to the case and evidence gathered during the procedure. The interview is carried out in Polish. If you do not speak Polish, you may bring an interpreter to the interview.
