A document issued by the civil registry office confirming the conclusion of marriage. If the marriage has been concluded outside the territory of Poland, a certified translation of the certificate by a sworn translator must also be submitted. If you are applying for a permanent residence permit based on marriage to a Polish citizen and the marriage was concluded abroad, you should contact the Civil Registry Office to register (enter) the marriage certificate in the Polish civil registry records.

EU Citizen’s family member means a spouse of an EU Citizen, a child of an EU Citizen or of the Spouse (if they are under the age of 21 or dependent on the EU Citizen or their spouse), a parent of the EU Citizen or of the spouse, who is dependent on the EU Citizen or their spouse. A family member may be either an EU citizen or a foreigner who does not hold the citizenship of an EU Member State.
A family member is defined as a spouse (i.e., wife or husband) and a child under the age of 18 i.e., a minor). Other relatives of the foreigner, such as siblings or parents, are not considered family members under this status.
The Schengen Area countries include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Italy, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Croatia, as well as Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Iceland (the last 4 countries are part of the Schengen Area but are not EU members). Ireland and Cyprus are EU Member States that are not part of the Schengen Area.
As of January 1, 2025, the minimum gross monthly wage is PLN 4,666, and the minimum gross hourly rate for specific civil-law contracts is PLN 30.50.

A person who according to the law is under the age of majority. In Poland it is every person under the age of 18.
