I have a permit for tolerated stay in Poland

When to submit the application?

A permanent residence permit is granted to a person who has had an uninterrupted residence in the territory of Poland for a period of no less than 10 years on the basis of a tolerated stay.

A permanent residence permit may not be granted to foreigners who were granted a permit for a tolerated stay in the territory of Poland due to the impossibility of executing the obligation to return for reasons beyond the control of the authority competent to enforce the decision obliging the foreigner to return and beyond the control of the foreigner (i.e. tolerated stay was granted on the basis of Article 351(1)(2) of the Act on Foreigners).

The application for a permanent residence permit must be submitted in person, after 10 years from granting the permit for tolerated stay.
